School Story
Unintended Consequences: When my brother Chris and Jim Bartunek (likely "stoned") plugged the shower drains and doors to the Boys locker room on a Sunday afternoon, and opened all the faucets, only to have Coach Starn open the gym doors Monday morning to a wall of water, causing the gym floor to buckle five feet high and end up getting sold as cutting boards. Somehow insurance paid for it. Made the papers nationwide. School athletes took a very dim view of it. I had to run interference for 'em. Ruining the gym floor was not considered by the fledgling pranksters. Upside: students got a brand-spanking-new gym floor!
